Solidarity & Style At The Golden Globes 2018

The concord was visible and the message was strong when numerous women walked the red carpet at the Golden Globes 2018 wearing black. Standing in support of the Time’s Up Movement and the #MeToo interest, women in the entertainment industry displayed a blackout of sorts which truly proved to be enlightening. At various bouts, these women beseeched viewers to stand up against sexual harassment and assault while being in it all together, like Oprah said in her acceptance speech for the Cecil B. DeMille Award, “Each of us in this room are celebrated because of the stories that we tell, and this year we became the story.”

To complement the solitary tone adorned, our beloved Hollywood celebrities sparkled and how! Green, purple and white which are the colors of the women’s suffrage movement were used at large in the form of makeup and accessories. While it was a night of some serious speeches which delved in to profound truths of the society, fashion did go along very well.
