Our Jewelry Picks For The Best Trends Of Resort 2018 Collection

Moschino Spring/Summer 18 Menswear And Women's Resort Collection - Runway

When Kendall Jenner wore sheer ankle socks to Cannes 2017, she was hinting towards the comeback of an insignificant enough accessory and we didn’t know until Valentino showcased it in their Resort, 2018 Collection. Adding a spin of glamour to your usual athleisure routine or reliving the old world charm, all was done gloriously to match up to the modern times yet stay true to its roots.

From bright hues to pared down colours and colour blocked to printed motifs, everything was on full display and we could only be gaping at the myriad styles. Here’s looking at our best picks from the Resort 2018 Collection:

Apart from colour, white re-appeared a lot in this collection, primarily because it is perfectly synonymous with resort wear and also because we are always game for something beachy and breezy. This eyelet dress from Christian Dior is a fierce nod to this trend. Pairing a Wooden Pendant Necklace with a white ensemble like this will look perfect.

Spring dress silhouettes combined with deep colours were showcased at Valentino but colours were rampant on the Resort 2018 runway. Electric hues to solid deep colours lit the runway in absolute right. Deep colours and wood have a thing of their own and so this Wooden Triangle Ring will blend beautifully with such a look.

Princess like pleats and sheer fabrics were also dominant amidst vintage curios and that sparked interest. This gown by Peter Dundas is done beautifully with epoch cold shoulders and satin lace ups. Pair our Celosia Necklace with a dress that has a plunging neckline like this one and you are sure to steal the show.

Frenzied prints and cowboy inspiration was rife at Moschino and you could tell that a vivacious road trip was on the cards. To balance that, trench coats and formal evening pant suits with a smatter of sparkle were also seen. Our iridescent Inaya Earrings will surely make crystals and colour bffs.

Plaids were generously used across ramps and we have only grown fond to them. Chanel’s models had a Greek Goddess coupled with peasants from forgotten land aura that will sit in the archives of our mind for some time now. Stacking up bracelets with plaid can be quite transformative and so our Florence Bracelet can be ideal.

The Looks That Slayed At The Cannes 2017 Film Festival

From sandy beaches to upmarket boutiques, the French Riviera is a destination most celebs flocked to for the 70th anniversary edition of the Cannes Film Festival. Its dynamism is much famed, courtesy to the previews of new films from all genres and multi celebrity spotting. Speaking of them, every year we are treated to show-stopping looks and this year too was no less with an array of notable ones that will be long remembered.

We are bowled over by some looks and are now matching our jewellery with them. Here, take a look:

In a gorgeous blue Michael Cinco gown, Aishwarya Rai swayed and slayed. She exuded a Cinderella-esque vibe and looked like a vision in a bold marsala lip and center parted straight hair. We think our Candance Earrings will blend beautifully well with this breath-taking look.

Floral Garden

Elle Fanning’s Gucci dress seemed to be inspired by floral gardens. We love how the ruffled trail resembles real flowers exuding an arty demeanour. The Xylia Bracelet will blend really well with her look and the matching floral design will create a great story.

The fierce and unwavering Cara Delevigne made an appearance in a Moschino asymmetrical dress and rocked it with her fearless hairstyle. The look coupled with a bold lip was everything you need to pull off that perfect androgynous look. This Gold Wrapped Choker will become the only accessory you would want to wear with such a look.

The much awaited Sonam Kapoor made an entry in a gorgeous dusty rose Elie Saab gown. The georgette trail flowed and the spectacular smattering of shimmer at the right areas simply made her look regal. Our Reverse Droplet Earrings will match with her look and we think make it the ideal evening party look.

In a black off-the-shoulder Ralph and Russo gown, Rihanna pulled off a partly demure, partly edgy look. The net cape complemented her dress beautifully and so did her scarlet nails. Our Silver Octavia ring will do complete justice to this look, we think.

Vintage Finery

And when has she not stunned us with her appearances? Bella Hadid simply wore an Alexandre Vauthier dress that had the highest thigh slit. Her love for crystal chokers will be made justice to with our Crystalline Choker that we think is made for this look.
